How to Create a Bridgerton Party Soundtrack & Activities List

Hosting your own Bridgerton party? Well no ball is complete without music and merriment, and a Bridgerton-inspired garden soirée is no exception. Once the florals are arranged and the candles are flickering, it’s time to set the mood with elegant melodies and playful activities that would make even Lady Danbury crack a smile.

While I haven’t yet hosted my own Regency-style garden party (though I daydream about it often), I’ve spent many a Pinterest scroll imagining how I’d bring the whole thing to life—from a pop-violin soundtrack floating through the hedgerows to lawn games played in long skirts and gloves.

If you, too, are planning your future event (or simply love to romanticise the idea), here are a few Bridgerton party ideas for music and Regency-inspired fun.

1. Create a Pop Goes Classical Playlist

A vintage-style record player surrounded by fresh blooms and twinkling lights, with sheet music resting nearby.

Nothing says Bridgerton quite like modern hits played by string quartets. Think Ariana Grande on the violin or Taylor Swift on the cello.

? Amy’s Note: I always start with the Vitamin String Quartet and let Spotify do the rest. It’s the perfect blend of elegance and fun.

✨ Try This: Bluetooth gramophone-style speaker

2. Include Classical Covers from the Show

A guest twirling in a flowing skirt on the lawn while music drifts from a hidden speaker in the garden.

Bridgerton’s official soundtrack features iconic tracks you’ll instantly recognise. Add instrumental versions of “Wrecking Ball,” “Wildest Dreams,” and “Thank U, Next.”

? Amy’s Note: Every time “Material Girl” starts playing, I imagine guests swishing through the garden with just a bit more sass.

✨ Try This: Curated Bridgerton-inspired Spotify playlist

3. Set the Scene with Regency Dance Cards

A flat lay of a handwritten dance card beside a velvet ribbon and a posy of dried lavender.

Add a touch of old-world charm with printable dance cards. Guests can pair up for a slow waltz or simply fill them in for fun.

? Amy’s Note: I’d love to include these as little favours—maybe tucked into place settings or tied with ribbon.

4. Play Regency-Themed Party Games

A group of friends laughing under fairy lights, with fans and parasols in hand, acting out dramatic clues.

Try charades with a Jane Austen twist, a quote-matching game using Bridgerton lines, or a game of “Who Said It?” with famous Regency characters.

? Amy’s Note: I have a whole list of Austen quotes saved for this very reason. Bonus points for dramatic fan flourishes.

✨ Try This: Printable Regency Charades Game Pack

5. Add Lawn Games for a Playful Touch

Croquet mallets resting in a vintage crate on the grass, with floral fans and lemonade glasses nearby.

Croquet, lawn bowling, or even a relaxed game of ring toss adds movement and fun for guests who like to mingle.

? Amy’s Note: Croquet in long skirts is firmly on my wishlist. It just feels like the kind of delightful chaos a Bridgerton picnic needs.

✨ Try This: Classic wooden croquet set

6. Offer a Creative Station (Letter Writing or Embroidery)

A dainty writing desk in the shade, with calligraphy pens, a candle, and pressed flower notecards.

Set up a small corner with notecards, wax seals, or simple embroidery hoops for guests to take a quiet moment.

? Amy’s Note: I always imagine a shaded writing nook, with a candle flickering and the gentle rustle of pages—heaven.

✨ Try This: Mini wax seal starter kit

7. End the Evening with a Garden Waltz

A couple dancing slowly in the twilight, fairy lights glowing behind them as petals fall in the breeze.

After sunset, play one final instrumental and invite guests to waltz beneath the fairy lights. Even a few steps will feel magical.

? Amy’s Note: One day, I’ll dance barefoot across the grass to a string version of “You Belong With Me.” Just you wait.

✨ Try This: Solar-powered string lights
